Description

Submachine gun is the Polish "Lightning," a 9mm SMG built covertly in occupied Warsaw during WWII. Armband indicates Polish Home Army, the resistance force behind the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. The Home Army nearly defeated the Nazi occupiers, but the uprising was quelled by the German forces after the Soviets didn't resupply and assist the Poles as promised.
